Doing your own thing. Have you got what it takes?

Apprentice

Show us what you can do

Everyone has their own personal strengths and talents. We would like to encourage yours!

It goes without saying that no master craftsman has ever fallen from the skies. That's why you don't have to know everything right from the start, but you do need to show us that you are eager to learn, are curious about new things and enjoy developing and improving yourself and your area of expertise. If that is the case, then we can offer you a wide range of opportunities.

The best proof of this are our numerous apprentices, many of whom have completed their apprenticeship training with distinction. You're sure to be up to it too!

FAQ

Application process

What is the application process for an apprenticeship?

First, register for an Experience Day  with us and get to know your chosen apprenticeship and all that it entails at first hand. This is very important for us as it provides you with a good basis for deciding whether you feel comfortable at Hueck Folien and whether you are enthusiastic about learning the profession.

If you would like to apply for one of the apprenticeships we offer, send us your application documents - the easiest way is to use our contact form

Documents

What documents do I need to send to Hueck Folien with my application?

Please send us your CV with a recent photo, your school-leaving report from your last year of schooling or, after the end of the term, your most recent interim report, and write us a few lines explaining why you would like to train for your chosen apprenticeship with us. Please use our contact form or call us on +43 7269/7570-13. Roland Hofer will be happy to answer your questions!

Job interview

How should I best prepare for the interview?

When you come to us for an interview, we would like you to have already familiarised yourself with our company, our products and the apprenticeship you are applying for.

It is best to ask and answer questions in advance of our interview, such as:

  • Who is Hueck Folien and what does the company do?
  • Why would you like to work for us?
  • What do you expect from your apprenticeship training with us?
  • What can we offer you?
  • What questions would you like to ask us?
  • Etc.

Experience Day

How do I register for a taster and what does the taster day involve?

To register for the Experience Day, simply use our contact form or call Roland Hofer directly on +43 7269 7570-135.

When registering, please indicate several apprenticeships from our training programme that you are interested in, so that we can offer you insights into a broader range of activities on the taster day. In this way, we hope to give you the opportunity to discover additional fields, which you might find of even greater interest than your chosen apprenticeship.

Red Cross training

What is the Red Cross training for apprentices and how does it work?

The training in cooperation with the Red Cross is intended to give our apprentices the opportunity not only to develop their social skills but also their personality. One of the three training modules is completed per apprenticeship year:

  1. Outdoor adventure first aid course
  2. Values Camp at the Red Cross Adventure House in Litzlberg on lake Attersee.
  3. A social day when the apprentices are allowed to accompany a Red Cross staff member during a call-out, or when distributing meals on wheels or on duty in an old people's home.

The training is voluntary for the apprentices, free of charge and can be completed during working hours.
