The family-owned company HUECK FOLIEN in Baumgartenberg focuses on occupational safety and its employees' health. This is why the company was awarded the "Workplace Health Promotion Certificate" (BGF-Gütesiegel) on Wednesday February, 3rd 2016 in Linz.
The health initiative „vital“ – Vorsorgen im täglichen Arbeitsleben – was started in 2012. Health circles, an annual health day, the healthy week in the staff canteen, the participation in diverse sporting events as well as the vital field day for families are examples of this successful project. For HUECK FOLIEN it is very important to start with preventative measures in order to preserve the employees' health.
Occupational safety has been one of the main focus topics at HUECK FOLIEN for many years, even before the project "vital" was started. With regular trainings, internal workshop talks and preventative measures the number and severity of accidents was considerably reduced.
Workplace health promotion helps to strengthen ones health and well-being of all employees. Moreover, workplace health promotion as well as measures of the project "vital" at HUECK FOLIEN contribute to the prevention of occupational diseases. "Vital" Project leader Michael Bayer is convinced that this health initiative helps to increase employees' health awareness and to reduce health stresses and strains. The "Workplace Health Promotion Certificate" (BGF-Gütesiegel) is awarded to HUECK FOLIEN for three years. Of course the company will continue to set measures to improve occupational safety, health and vitality of its employees.
